About Us
Founded in 2014 in response to growing school demand for yoga-based wellbeing training, Yogido™ began with a simple vision: to make fun, accessible yoga that also builds key social and emotional skills. That vision led to the creation of three successful YogiYoga™ courses and the very popular YogiLeaders™ program- empowering early years, primary, and secondary educators to deliver affordable, sustainable yoga and wellbeing activities.
Our strong relationships with educators and our responsive approach to the evolving needs of schools, staff, and learners remain at the heart of everything we do. As behaviour challenges rise and staff wellbeing declines, we continue to offer practical, inclusive and easy to embed solutions that make a real difference.
Our Philosophy
Yogido™ embraces a neuro-positive, trauma-responsive approach that values emotional safety, connection, and empowerment. We embed wellbeing into everyday practise- not as an add-on, but as a way of being. Our nature-based, movement-rich experiences foster emotional regulation, creativity, empathy, and academic success.
We believe staff wellbeing is just as important as learner wellbeing. Our delivery model is designed to energise educators, not exhaust them- recognising each teacher’s unique capacity and fostering sustainable, personalised engagement.
Experience
Jessica has an absolute passion for learning and empowering others in the learning process. For over 20 years of working in Education, her infectious enthusiasm and creative flair have helped to make learning in her company dynamic and engaging. Designing educational resources and training for schools, and mentoring leadership programmes for young people, her gentle encouraging nature has a way of putting everyone at ease in her presence, creating a joyful experience.
Covid lockdown, followed by a new baby and a family move to Australia, placed Yogido™ into hibernation. But in the background Jessica continued to observe and interact with educators and families, building and adapting ideas for Yogido™’s return to supporting positive change.
As a nature loving mum of 3, the Thomson’s can often be found hiking up the hills, building dens in the forest and dunking in the sea. It is this love of nature and seeing the benefits it has for children and adults in this fast-paced world, that inspire her work.
So it is with great excitement that Yogido™ is back! Bringing its full range of well-loved colourful resources to a new market here in Australia. Plus, a brand new resource YogiROOTS™ - harnessing the ancient powers of nature and movement to help us strengthen connections, better understand our feelings and behavioural responses, and regulate our emotions.
